Stamp TV 3D September Challenge

The September 3D challenge at Stamp TV (Gina K Designs forum) is to alter a notebook. I recently picked up some small spiral notebooks at Michael's in the dollar spot. This notebook measures 5.5 x 5.5 . I'm thinking it would be the perfect little companion to my stamping desk where I can keep note of techniques.

There are so many techniques out there I never remember them all when I sit down to create. And Gina K has so many posted at Stamp TV it's fun.

Here is my notebook:

I used Gina K's butterfly set called Take Flight and I used pattern paper by Memory Box. I love butterfly images they are so awesome to use.

That's it for now!

Gina K - Stamp TV challenges

I have been loving the challenges over at Stamp TV. Last week I participated in Gina's challenge called Double Duty. This challenge was to pick one Gina K set and use that to make a card as well as a layout. I picked Fruitful Harvest and used the apple from it.

Here is my layout:

Here is a close up of the apples:

Next up is the card I made using the same apple. For this one I glittered it up with stickles.

That's it for now.

Glittery Fun

I love using glitter, well mostly Stickles! A while ago I glittered up this tee shirt from Gina K's Little Tee's set by Melanie. I didn't do anything with it, not sure why but finally I decided I had to use because it was so cool! Here is my layout:

This is a picture of my little girl when she was about 6 months. I stamped the t-shirt and diva on acetate. Once dry I turned it over and used my stickles to "color" the t-shirt. Be sure to let the stickles dry for a while. I usually do these things at night and let dry overnight.

Here are some close ups so you can see the glitter and the dimension. I used my nesties to cut the frame and used pop dots to create the "box" look.

Cafe Mojo Challenge

The new Cafe Mojo challenge is up and this week the challenge is to scrapbook about your new daily routine! How do you fit it all in? What has been the biggest change for your family? How long did it take or do you think it will take to transition smoothly? Show us anything you want about your new routine!

I went with the school theme. This year my little ones started preschool so this is a big event for them as well as myself. Here is what I came up with using images from Unity Stamp Co. My sketch is this week's sketch from 52 Sketches.

Take the Challenge Tuesday - Cover it!

This month's Take the Challenge Tuesday with Clear & Simple Stamps design team is to "Cover it".

Do you remember how we always had to "cover" our textbooks? Do the kids still do that? I remember using brown paper bags, today I think the kids have really cool book covers to use. Anyhow, this month our challenge was to cover/alter a notebook. I decided to cover a small pocket sized compo notepad.

I used the new "Get In Gear" which is the September's stamp of the month at CSS.

Be sure to swing by the design team to see what fun stuff they cooked up for this challenge.

Get ready because on September 15 is the "Playtime Release"!! There will be some more awesome sets coming out that you won't want to miss!
